We have been trading in Crewkerne as Richard Chant Flooring since the early 1980s when the company was set up by Richard himself.
Over the years Richard has been joined by family members to make the company what it is today, a successful small family business offering high quality flooring products and services to Crewkerne and the surrounding area.
Richard has built up a strong reputation locally as a straight talking, no nonsense business man, who makes sure all his customers are happy.
We at Richard Chant Flooring pride ourselves on recommending the most suitable flooring product to meet each customer’s particular flooring needs and ensuring that it is fitted to Richard’s very high standards.
Richard, who started the business early in 1980, has trained all our staff to the very high standards he has always set for himself.
Ben is Richard's son. He's always been around flooring and tools ever since the days he started to accompany his father on fitting jobs.
Ben has an exhaustive knowledge of the products and materials and the different technical challenges they offer.
John is Richard's brother. John is known for his reliable work. He specialises in fitting our customers' carpets to our high standards.
Jason, although not directly related to us - the Chants - is definitely part of the family.
Richard sometimes calls Jason his adopted son. He's been with us since he left school in 1998. He does all the different kinds of flooring and is very particular about fitting ceramic tiles and wood flooring.
April is your main point of contact - and she is Richard's wife. She likes to find the time to understand our customers' needs and to match those needs to the products available.
What to expect when you visit our showroom?
This is our workplace - our office and showroom combined - where April is based. It's an office surrounded by our extensive collection of samples.
